The sorority experience is one of lifetime membership and we encourage you to take advantage of the wonderful opportunity membership in an organization will provide. Registration for Formal Recruitment 2022 will open on September 30th and will close on November 28th. This is a strict deadline and cannot be extended for any reason. We are excited to see our Potential New Members in January 2022!
The Panhellenic Recruitment Team
2022 Panhellenic Formal Recruitment Modality Announcement
Open House will be virtual this year! This will allow PHC to keep recruitment registration fees as low as possible while also allowing PNMs and chapters to spend time learning about one another! PNMs will submit a 3-minute video as part of their registration process in MyCampusDirector. You are given several prompts to choose from, and we encourage you to be your true self when filming your video- this is your chance to introduce yourself! All 13 chapters will submit a pre-recorded video that will give you an introduction to who they are and what their values are! All PNMs will watch the chapter Open House videos January 9-10. All other rounds of Panhellenic Formal Recruitment will take place in person. We will follow all CDC and local/campus guidelines regarding health and safety.
There are a few requirements that each PNM must fulfill in order to register for formal recruitment.
- A woman is eligible to participate in the PHC Formal Recruitment process if she is enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student who has completed 12 or more Virginia Tech credit hours by the end of the fall semester, prior to recruitment, is in good academic standing with Virginia Tech, is not on an active sanction with Student Conduct, is at least a second-semester freshman, and attends the mandatory recruitment information session.
- Credits earned by AP, IB, CLEP, dual enrollment, and credit-by-exam do not count toward the 12 Virginia Tech credit hour requirement. Transfer credits must have been received post high school while at a 4 year or 2 year college.
- A woman is ineligible to participate if she is or has ever been initiated into a National Panhellenic (NPC) organization on any campus.
- Must complete the registration process through My Campus Director before 11:59pm on November 28, 2021.
