Dear Potential New Member,
On behalf of the Panhellenic community, we are so excited that you are considering joining the Panhellenic community! Our community consists of 13 chapters that all offer their members a unique sisterhood, leadership opportunities, scholarship enhancement, and philanthropic and service opportunities. We are confident that Virginia Tech women can find a home away from home in one of our 13 chapters. The sorority experience is one of lifetime membership and we encourage you to take advantage of the wonderful opportunity membership in an organization will provide. Registration for Formal Recruitment 2024 will open September of 2023.

Informal recruitment is an ongoing process throughout the semester, and all those who were eligible for Formal Recruitment during 2023 are eligible to participate in informal recruitment If you have any questions regarding eligibility please contact our Vice President of Recruitment, Grayson, at vprecruitmentphc@gmail.com.

Recruitment Requirements
There are a few requirements that each PNM must fulfill in order to register for formal recruitment.
- A woman is eligible to participate in the PHC Formal Recruitment process if she is enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student who has completed 12 or more Virginia Tech credit hours by the end of the fall semester, prior to recruitment, is in good academic standing with Virginia Tech, is not on an active sanction with Student Conduct, is at least a second-semester freshman, and attends the mandatory recruitment information session.
- Credits earned by AP, IB, CLEP, dual enrollment, and credit-by-exam do not count toward the 12 Virginia Tech credit hour requirement. Transfer credits must have been received post high school while at a 4 year or 2 year college.
- A woman is ineligible to participate if she is or has ever been initiated into a National Panhellenic (NPC) organization on any campus.
- Must complete the registration process through My Campus Director before the deadline.
